View MoreIt looks like there is a groundswell to make sure that state legislatures in PA, MI, GA, AZ, and WI know of their unreviewable power to remedy election fraud in the administration of elections for electors in their state. Here is one such initiative from Conservative HQ (run by Richard Viguerie). I am sure that he is using it to build his database. But I applaud his effort and have signed the petition. I read his justification on his petition, and I think it leaves out an important quote from Bush v. Gore on this topic: The State, of course, after granting the franchise in the special context of Article II, can take back the power to appoint electors. See [McPherson v. Blacker, 146 U.S. 1,] 35 (1892)“ ‘[T]here is no doubt of the right of the legislature to resume the power at any time, for it can neither be taken away nor abdicated’ What this effort does not allow is for people to claim that they are "respecting the will of the voters" by accepting results that have evidence of having been produced by fraud. When that happens, of course, the results are not a reflection of the will of the people, but of a thwarting of the will of the people! And that CANNOT be allowed to stand. Salute to Viguerie for pushing this effort to protect the sanctity of the vote, the will of the electorate, rule of law, the Constitution, and our liberty!
